- Location: Any of our 5 Early Head Start Centers in Leon, Madison, or Jefferson County
- Time: Monday-Friday, 8-4pm (Individual hours flexible within business hours)
- Commitment Level: Long and short term commitments available for volunteers.
- Report to: Head Teacher
Duties
• Communicate with teachers to assist with the daily activities of the classroom
• Help set up and put away games and activities
• Play with, talk and read to, and teach the children ages 0-3 during activities
• Reinforce proper hygiene by helping children wash their hands
• Reinforce proper behavior using positive redirection
• Comfort children as needed by hugging, holding or rocking them
