The Divine Revelations Ministries, Digital Marketing (DRMI) Social Media Administrator Intern will
Responsibilities
The volunteer will support DRMI’s efforts in capacity building by developing our digital marketing and social media presence in the local community.
Assist with social media and bring new/creative ways to promote DRMI.
Assist on the selection and submission of event photos and uploading them to our website and social media pages.
Assist in creating flyers and content for DRMI newsletter.
Meet and coordinate with the Projects Manager to determine information for marketing/advertising.
Create and distribute weekly email updates about DRMI’s programs/services via Vertical Response.
Design social media posts to keep DRMI at greater presence in the local community, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram. This may include videos, flyers, posters, etc.
Design social media campaigns to spread awareness, fundraising, etc.
Design marketing plan that includes SEO strategy to rank higher in search results, and improved branding.
Use platforms such as HubSpot or similar free cloud-based system to maintain marketing data and generate reports.
Use marketing strategies to tell our story, share our achievements and expand our presence.
Update DRMI website on Weebly.com with modern, engaging marketing/advertising content, and report on website analytics.
Update Google Business account.
Qualifications
Creative, analytical thinker, with mature problem-solving skills, motivated to help a grassroots organization build capacity. Confident computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office suite of products, web design – experience with Weebly.com preferred, but not required. Experience in marketing/ad development, with Facebook marketing a plus. Ability and comfort working independently.
Time, Place & Commitment
The volunteer is expected to work from a home or virtual office, during flexible days - part time hours (approximately 20 hours per week), between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The DRMI Projects Manager will meet with the volunteer by Zoom, UberConference, Teams, email and phone. The volunteer will be expected to check-in by email with the Projects Manager at the start of shift and report daily accomplishments at the end of shift.
We anticipate that full development and implementation will take 6 to 9 months or encompass two semesters.
