The Learning Pavillion-Gardening Assistant Intern
Major Objectives
The main purpose of this department is to provide inclusive, high-quality early childhood education for families who live, work, or attend school in the greater Tallahassee area. The volunteer’s role is to help assist the facility in maintaining a developmentally appropriate program.
Responsibilities
Intern Job duties included are weeding the garden beds, rotating soil, planting seeds, and tending to and growing a variety of vegetables.
Qualifications
Gardening skills preferred but not required.
Time, Place & Commitment
This position will be located in both the preschool building and the baby house garden. The preschool building garden beds are located on the pavilion and the baby house garden beds are located on the baby house playground. We are looking for interns for Tuesday-Thursday from 9 AM-11 AM.
A semester (4 months)
