Title:
Health and Human Social Services Intern
Major Objectives:
The Volunteer Services Department is the volunteer arm of Leon County Government and
provides a wide range of services to the community related to volunteerism. Specifically responsible for connecting citizens with volunteer opportunities and training those engaging volunteers to expand the field.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of daily processes of volunteer program
- Assist with the data management and evaluation of program procedures
- Review for revision of policies and procedures for the Program
- Conduct research on Volunteer trends
- Prepare written materials based upon research in the form of reports
- Other general office duties, including filing and answering phones
Qualifications:
Strong English, writing and computer skills (especially Microsoft Office) and good organizational, technical, creative, analytical, and personal skills.
Time and Place:
Leon County Courthouse 301 S Monroe St. Suite 502 Tallahassee, Florida
Monday -Friday between 9am -4pm
Some weekend events
Commitment:
12 weeks at 10 hours per week
