The Learning Pavilion is looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help us with our annual Trunk Or Treat event!
What is a Trunk or Treat?
Our Trunk or Treat Event asks that businesses, like your own, decorate a trunk to fit a certain theme or idea. Participants can dress up in costume to fit the theme. Trunks are also encouraged to incorporate a simple game or motor activity with the theme. Trunks can provide candy or prizes to our kiddos as they walk, with their parents, to each vehicle trick-or-treating, playing, learning and having fun! #smartplay
What do volunteers do?
We have several ways to volunteer and all of them are fun!
- Help Decorate the Trunks from 3:30pm- 5:00pm: Come early and help our Parents, teachers and local businesses decorate their trunks for the kiddos. Stay after and enjoy the festivities.
- Help "Run" a Trunk (4:30pm-7:00pm) Dress up in costume and help our teachers and parents pass out candy and help kids with the games.
- Help with Crowds and Traffic 3:30-7:00pm: Help us keep our students and their families safe by directing traffic and parking away from the main event.
- Help with clean up 5pm-7:30pm: Help us keep our school clean by picking up the parking lot area during and after the event.
This event is open to the public and we hope to have a wonderful time with our families this year. Volunteers can qualify for community service hours toward school. Costumes aren't required but they are encouraged! Nothing too scary for the little kiddos though! Volunteer groups welcome!
