Who We Are

The Plant is a multi-use facility with the capacity to encourage all forms of creative expression. We hold exhibitions and events, host an after school program and a number of other nonprofits, as well has operate during open hours. During our open hours, members of the community are able to take full advantage of all that the The Plant has to offer including a free library, a full kitchen stocked with food, our free clothing closet, workshop spaces with art supplies, and more. We are fully volunteer run and donation supported and are incredibly grateful for support from the community. If you are interesting in working with us, please do not hesitate to reach out through email or fill out our volunteer interest google form (found on our Instagram through Linktree).

What We Do

The Plant provides many necessary resources to the community. Our primary mission is to provide a safe space for Do-It-Yourself creative artists to express themselves through the arts. We encourage radical and free self-expression in the arts that we showcase. Our vision is to see art expressed in its many forms, accessible, unencumbered and attainable for all during your time with us. In line with said vision, we provide all in-house art materials for free, as well as provide free food and clothing.
