Motivating People through Arts and Crafts

Motivating People through Arts and Crafts is part of a Social Enterprise which consists of Obsessions Gifts (for profit) and Motivating People through Arts and Crafts (501c3 nonprofit). MPAC provides entrepreneurship opportunities, volunteer experiences, and art workshops to persons 14-25 years old who are primarily on the Autism Spectrum, Neurodiverse, and/or have Communication Disorders. We have been in existence since March 2020.

MPAC hosts on-going events throughout the year that provide opportunities to celebrate artistic expression and Neurodiversity. We have an annual ArtCase event held each April in conjunction with Autism Awareness Month which provides participants with the opportunity to display their artistic creations and connect with other artists within their community. Projects throughout the year include the on-going series, Career Art, a series of weekly workshops focusing on art entrepreneurship - creating, marketing and selling one’s art. Quarterly showcases; on-going classes; and fun events that blend creative activities with opportunities to build friendships and strengthen one’s communication skills.
