In response to Hurricane Helene, 211 Big Bend is packing boxes of food and other supplies at the Spanish SDA Church that will be sent to people in need.
The contact for this need is Summer Boggs, and her phone number is 850-510-1374. Assistance will be needed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-2pm. It will be in a warehouse-please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and breathable clothing that is not loose.
This is a warehouse environment with no a/c. Bring water, snacks and lunch!

Lastly, please park to the far left (when looking at the church with your back towards Monroe) in the parking lot. That will ensure you're not in the way of any of the delivery trucks or Door Dash drivers. Occasionally police will set up right there to run radar but they're nice so just give them a little space :)
