Responsibilities
The volunteer in this position provides assistance with managing items that are requested from other libraries.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be self -motivated, and able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to alphabetize correctly. Attention to detail important.
- Must have computer skills.
- Must be able to learn library policies and procedures.
- Skilled in communicating courteously and efficiently with diverse people.
- Dependability
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach overhead.
- Ability to push carts weighing 30 lbs. or more, ability to stand for long periods of time
Commitment
Adult Reference Department, Workroom on the 2nd Floor
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10am - 12pm
Monday, Thursday, and Friday 12pm - 2pm
