Volunteer Marketing Strategist – Help Us Share the STEMS4Girls Story!
Do you have a talent for crafting messages that grab attention and inspire action? Are you passionate about using marketing to elevate a good cause?
STEMS4Girls is looking for a Marketing Strategist to join our team and help us grow our visibility, deepen community engagement, and boost support for our STEM programs. As a Marketing Strategist, you’ll play a dynamic role in both event promotion and public outreach, working closely with our Event Planning and Communications teams. This is a great opportunity to flex your creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills while making a difference in the lives of young girls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Event Planning Team to develop marketing strategies and promotional materials for upcoming STEM events
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to manage and enhance our social media presence, newsletters, and community outreach
- Help design and distribute marketing materials such as flyers, banners, and digital content
- Assist in creating branded merchandise and promotional items for public purchase and awareness campaigns
- Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, vendors, and community partners who align with our mission
- Contribute ideas for growing our audience, strengthening engagement, and increasing support for our programs
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a strong interest in marketing, branding, or digital communication
- Understands what grabs attention and drives public interest
- Is creative, collaborative, and full of ideas
- Is comfortable using tools like Canva, Instagram, Facebook, or email marketing platforms (not required, but a plus)
- Wants to support a cause that empowers girls and underrepresented youth in STEM
