On August 17th Mission San Luis is hosting Back-to-School FREE event in partnership with WFSU who will be premiering the PBS KIDS show, "Molly of Denali." The series follows 10-year-old Molly, an Alaska Native girl from the fictional village of Qyah.
This fun event will also include:
-- Living History Demonstrations (including cooking & blacksmithing)
-- Archery
-- Crafts for Kids
We are looking for volunteers to help with our crafts table and the archery range. We are also looking for volunteers to dress up in costume as a member of our interpretive village.
Lunch will be provided for all volunteers!
