Date: Thursday, May 8, 2014
Time: 4:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Volunteers can come in shifts, depending on responsibility)
- Registration (4:30 PM - 6:30 PM): Check guests in at entrance to event and collect payments for sponsorships/tickets if not already paid (will be marked on registration sheet). We need two volunteers for the general admission check-in and two volunteers for the VIP check in.
- VIP Bartenders (4:30 PM - 9:00 PM, can be done in shifts): We are having an open bar for our VIP area and will need two bartenders for this bar.
- VIP Wine Toss (4:30 PM - 10:00 PM, can be done in shifts): Run wine toss game and collect payments for tosses. (The wine toss will be a game similar to a ring toss at carnivals, but instead of winning a giant stuffed animal, guests will win the bottle of wine their ring lands on.) We will need one volunteer for this.
- Bidding (6:15 PM - 6:45 PM): Walk around and collect payments from people who agree to donate certain amounts. Volunteers will need a smart phone to access our mobile donation page. We will need four additional volunteers for this.
- Silent auction (5:00 PM - 9:30 PM, can be done in shifts): Monitor silent auction and collect silent auction sheets at the end of the evening. We will need 3-5 volunteers for this, depending on the final number of silent auction items we have.
