Big Bend Cares is hosting our summer fundraiser, Artopia, on June 23rd at the Donald L Tucker Civic Center.
The event ends around 10:00pm, and we need help packing up art items and event materials, loading them into cars, cleaning up, and unloading things at our office after. I ask that clean-up volunteers arrive at 10:30 and plan to stay until we are finished. Usually, we are finished around midnight - 1 am, but more people will make it go faster! Volunteers need to be reliable individuals who can carefully handle loading and unloading artwork.
I will sign off on triple hours for those who need recorded community service hours. I do accept volunteers for court ordered hours but you must contact me ahead of time and describe your offense in order to get approved.
