Calling Aspiring Event Planners – Help Us Bring STEM Events to Life!
Are you creative, organized, and excited about event planning? STEMS4Girls is looking for passionate individuals to join our Event Planner Team as we gear up for several exciting events in 2025–2026!
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in event planning, community engagement, and nonprofit coordination.
As an Event Planner Team Member, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to plan and execute signature STEMS4Girls events, including: STEM Lights On Afterschool (October 25), Science & Technology Conference, Our Annual Fundraiser Gala, and more!
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working within a set budget to plan engaging and impactful events
- Coordinating logistics on-site—setup, tear down, registration, etc.Communicating with public and private partners for space, resources, and support
- Recruiting speakers, exhibitors, and attendees
- Supporting promotion and outreach efforts
- Ensuring all the small (but important!) details are in place
We’re looking for volunteers who are:
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Problem solvers who think on their feet
- Team players with a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working with vendors and building professional relationships
