Description

The Museum of Florida History’s 34th Annual Children’s Day is Saturday, January 28, 2017! The Museum hosts an entire day of performances, exhibitors, crafts and activities. This year’s theme is “Touching History.”

Volunteers are needed throughout the day to assist staff and exhibitors with set-up, visitor orientation, craft and activity tables, parking guidance, and much more. This is a great opportunity for individuals and service groups to engage with their local community and make connections to businesses, exhibitors, and other organizations that participate in this popular event.

If you are interested in volunteering as an individual or as a group, there are two shifts available (in the morning and in the afternoon.)

Volunteers should register online at:

If you have any questions, please email Lydia.Nabors@dos.myflorida.com

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian while volunteering.

The Museum cannot provide a volunteer opportunity to those persons who have been convicted of, or pled no contest to, or been found guilty of a crime that is a felony or misdemeanor, or is seeking court-ordered community service hours.
