The Knott House Museum will host a Holiday Open House Tour on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. during the Tallahassee Downtown Festival of Lights.
Visitors will enjoy beautiful Christmas decorations, hot cider, and Christmas cookies. Festive holiday music is presented by Frets and Strings, the Leon High School classical guitar group.
Volunteers are needed from 5:00p.m. to 9:30p.m. to staff each room of the Knott House to facilitate visitor experience of this historic home. Volunteers will also help refill the cookies and cider, and assist with clean up after the event.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of 18 years or older.
The Museum cannot provide a volunteer opportunity in the case of persons having been convicted of, or pled no contest, or been found guilty of a crime that is a felony or misdemeanor, or is seeking court-ordered community service hours.
