Role Overview
Peoples Health International is seeking a creative and passionate Blog & Content Writer Volunteer to help share impactful stories and educational content that supports our mission of improving global health awareness. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy writing, researching, and creating engaging content that informs, inspires, and connects with diverse audiences.
As a Blog & Content Writer, you will play an important role in strengthening our online presence by producing articles, blog posts, and digital content that highlights public health topics, organizational initiatives, and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Research and write engaging blog articles related to public health, global health, and community wellness.
Create original content for the organization's website, blogs, and other digital platforms.
Develop educational articles that make health information easy to understand for a broad audience.
Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Collaborate with team members to develop content ideas that align with organizational goals and campaigns.
Incorporate SEO best practices, when appropriate, to improve online visibility.
Assist in maintaining a consistent voice and messaging across written content.
Qualifications
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, engaging, and reader-friendly manner.
Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
Interest in public health, global health, nonprofit work, or community education.
Ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines and work independently.
Prior blogging, journalism, communications, or content writing experience is helpful but not required.
