Description

Leon County 4‑H is partnering with the Family Resource Center in Fort Braden to bring new 4‑H community clubs to the Fort Braden area! We are seeking passionate and caring adult volunteers who are interested in mentoring youth through a variety of 4‑H project areas such as gardening, fishing, STEM, and more.

A community club is a 4‑H club that meets regularly (based on volunteer availability) and provides youth with engaging, hands‑on learning opportunities in a supportive environment. These clubs will serve youth in the Fort Braden area and focus on learning by doing.

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Mentor and guide youth
  • Lead hands‑on activities in your area(s) of interest
  • Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable space for all participants

If you are interested in becoming a 4‑H club volunteer, a member of the 4‑H staff will contact you to schedule a meeting and discuss the role in more detail.
