Leon County 4-H is looking for passionate adult volunteers to assist with the established 4-H Get Goating Club that meets every 3rd Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Youth in this project area are working to develop professional skills in veterinary sciences and animal husbandry, all while bonding with their Goats and developing life skills. Work alongside experts in the field while assisting with mentoring youth, assisting with group management, assisting with farm chores as needed, and maintaining a fun and welcoming environment. This opportunity will be held at Goat House Farm in the Fort Braden area. If you are interested, 4-H Staff will contact you to set up a one-on-one meeting to discuss the role further.
