Goodwood Museum & Gardens is known for its immense variety of heirloom and heritage roses.
Goodwood needs experienced volunteers to help propagate and maintain the rose inventory on site.
The roses will be offered during Goodwood’s plant sales, and the rose volunteers also work these sales to offer support to the enthusiastic rose customers.
Rose volunteers are important in the care and documentation of rose varieties in Goodwood's gardens; many of the rose varieties are historically relevant to Goodwood, and the preservation of these plants is highly important volunteer work.
The rose volunteers work directly with the Operations Manager and Gardens Manager to complete tasks and document progress.
Rose volunteers can work any time Monday-Friday from 9 AM - noon, with occasional weekend times being offered.
