Meals are served five days a week at Grace. The number of people served varies from 60 - 150 depending on the time, day of the month and the weather. We use disposable and/or compostable plates, cups, bowls & utensils so the only items to wash are pots, pans & large serving utensils. Teams of five to six arrive 30-45 minutes before meal service in order to set up. Duties are generally concluded in about 90 minutes. No prior food service experience is needed. Individuals and teams of up to 6 are welcome to serve. We also maintain a list of on-call people for last minute changes. Volunteer orientation is required.
