The Learning Pavillion-Mission Outreach Coordinator
Major Objectives
The main purpose of this department is to provide inclusive, high-quality early childhood education for families who live, work, or attend school in the greater Tallahassee area. The intern volunteer’s role is to help assist the facility in maintaining a developmentally appropriate program.
Responsibilities
The intern will work to raise awareness of The Learning Pavilion, increase website traffic, build our base, and inspire parents and community members to act as advocates for early childhood education. This includes assisting with social media and public events. The intern will help research funding opportunities as well as assist in fundraising events.
Qualifications
Customer service experience & professional demeanor.
Time, Place & Commitment
This position will be located in both the preschool building and the baby house. The initial meetings will be held in our buildings and then they will be transferred to an online setting such as Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams.
A semester (4 months)
