Join the Friends of Maclay Gardens for a morning of beautifying Maclay Gardens! Assignments may include pulling weeds and vines, removing invasive plants, debris removal, planting, and other gardening tasks.
Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the volunteer event. Scout troops, corporate volunteers, and other groups are welcome! Volunteers not currently registered with Florida State Parks may sign a Short-Term Volunteer Agreement for the duration of the event. Please arrive to the park to sign paperwork by 8:30 AM if you are not a registered Florida State Parks volunteer.
Please arrive wearing closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing that can get dirty. We also recommend gloves, a water bottle, insect repellant, and sun protection. All tools will be provided by the park.
