Who We Are

Embracing the medium of short film, Tally Shorts Film Festival is excited to bring a truly unique and independent cinema experience to North Florida for over six years with the goal of increasing community awareness and support for film as a cultural and economic asset. In addition to showcasing cinema from around the world, Tally Shorts is dedicated to preserving, nurturing and cultivating local filmmakers by providing an avenue to network, showcase and discuss all aspects of film. 

The Tally Shorts Film Festival is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.

What We Do

An annual short film festival held in Tallahassee, Florida in January. For the past 6 years we've held this event at the Challenger Learning Center. Monthly filmmaker meetings with local filmmakers from around the area. Informational booths at community events like (Winter Fest, MLK Fest, Tallahassee Comic Con, etc.). Coming Soon: 48hr Short Film Challenge
