Who We Are
Children's Home Society of Florida was established in Jacksonville in 1902 and the agency has served the Tallahassee area since 1964. Having its roots in adoptions and foster care, the agency has expanded to serve the entire state of Florida by providing different programs for different areas.
What We Do
Children's Home Society of Florida's North Central Division provides services to at least 1,000 children and families every day in the Big Bend area (including Tallahassee). Programs in the area include individual and family counseling, adoptions, foster care case management, early intervention services, child protection services, and shelter care.
