Who We Are
The volunteer will greet clients, make appointments, complete registration reminders via phone and email, data entry, filing, and other light office duties as requested. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 2010 is preferred but willing to train enthusiastic applicants. Applicants must be client oriented and willing to learn.
What We Do
Tallahassee Lenders’ Consortium is a non-profit organization created to increase affordable homeownership. The mission of TLC is “…to make the dream of homeownership a reality by improving people’s ability to obtain and retain safe, decent, and affordable housing through: creating housing options, providing homebuyer education, and providing access to affordable financing.” The one-stop shop provides no cost counseling (one-on-one and group) during pre-purchase, closure, post-purchase, debt management, credit readiness, delinquency, and foreclosure. Down payment assistance programs are available to eligible applicants.
Volunteers must be 18 and older. No court mandated volunteers.
