Who We Are
The Big Bend Homeless Coalition is the areas largest provider of safe housing for men, women, and children who are homeless. Because of the generosity of our donors and volunteers, we are able to house more than 250 people every day that would otherwise stay at an emergency shelter, in a car, or on the streets. Different than emergency shelters, we provide our residents with a mix of transitional and permanent housing programs designed to meet their basic needs, help them find jobs, and become self-sufficient. Our programs work. In the past six years, we have helped more than 1,000 people transition from homelessness to stable housing.
What We Do
The mission of the Big Bend Homeless Coalition is to end homelessness in the Big Bend through leadership, education, advocacy, and the provision of quality services..
