Omega Lamplighters, Inc.

The Omega Lamplighters is a young men’s mentoring program for minority males. Founded in 2008 by Royle King II and Simeon Nelson and officially launched in 2011 the Omega Lamplighters serves ages 14-18 (High School). In 2018 in order to reach youth earlier the program created the Omega Junior Lamplighters focused on grades fourth - eighth. The Omega Lamplighters Inc. Mission: To empower secondary aged youth with academic and social skills, community connections, and progressive opportunities necessary to ensure their roles as active, educated, and responsible citizens.

OUR MISSION IS TO WORK WITH AND ESTABLISH PRODUCTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUNG MEN AND EQUIP THEM WITH HIGH LEADERSHIP AND ACADEMIC SKILLS. TO OFFER SUPPORT, MENTORSHIP AND GUIDANCE WHILE ASSISTING THEM IN THEIR TRANSFORMATION INTO MANHOOD.

Age range is 14 and above - 70. 

Does take court mandated volunteers. Cannot have any violent or sexual charges, or against children.
