Major Objectives We are SOWING SEEDS SEWING COMFORT MINISTRY a 501[c]3 non-profit. We are a Christian symbol of leadership and an active participant in community affairs. We are committed to the enhancement and development of our community being sensitive to the needs of men, women and children leading to physical, mental, and spiritual growth. We will inform, inspire and empower people to be self-sustainable. We recognize the importance of development and growth of the mind, body and spirit. We will provide our members with life skills to aid with the improvement of their lives by teaching sewing, knitting, gardening, culinary skills, marketing and budgeting skills.  We teach: Bible study, collect and distribute food, gardening skills, culinary class, sewing class, marketing skills and budgeting skills. Volunteers would help keep the operation running efficiently and with purpose.

General clerical assistance, knowledgeable in Windows programs, including Excel. Maintain data base, create flyers and brochures. Good writing skills. General research. 

 

9 AM- 12 Noon 

Two days a week (flexible)

Student expert in quick books to teach short courses on quick books to non-profit staff. 

 

Flexible (Time commitment)

Energetic person who loves and is interest in gardening with young folks. 

Able to do four hours twice weekly

Community service hours available

Monday and Saturday

Fall hours 9:00am -11:00am

Spring\Summer  8:00am-11:00am

Skills: Technology, Work with software programs including spreadsheets, databases, word processing and graphic presentation sofware.
