Assist with programs for children and families at Maryland Oaks Crossing. Be role models and friends.

Please join our team distributing groceries Wed from 9-2, and Thursday from 8-2. Sometimes it is quiet, sometimes we are slammed, so all help is appreciated. Some lifting up to 25 lbs and bending required.

We distribute groceries to Leon County senior citizens throughout the month. Our greatest need is for the second and third Saturday in the month. These shifts last 2- 2.5 hours. Must pass a background check, must have a car and valid drivers license. 

Seeking men with an interest in helping previously incarcerated men as they rebuild their lives. We are looking for people willing to develop a positive relationship with residents at Mercy House, the agency's Reentry Program for men. Make face to face contact once a week and assist men with transportation, job searches, and general positive support as needed.

Call seniors each month to let them know their groceries are coming, to keep in touch, to pass along any program news they need to know (enrollment period, etc.). Prefer to have volunteers call from the office, but you can call from home.

Assist the maintenance crew at Maryland Oaks Crossing with painting, pressuring washing and grounds maintenance. Tools and Mechanical skills a plus. Light labor.
