Our Summer Reading Academy will be help at the Episcopal University Center in FSU's Ruge Hall. This year's theme is The Pollinaters. Underserved children, ages 6 - 12, are transported to Ruge and participate with one-on-one tutors in a curriculum that includes reading, reading comprehension, arts & crafts, creative play & hands-on science labs that all relate to the theme. Kitchen Angels pick up donated meals daily and deliver them to Ruge, set-up and serve the lunch, dine with the children & tutors to teach socialization skills and clean-up afterwards. Reading Academy is the week of July 25th - 30th.
