Grant Writers Wanted – Help Us Expand and Sustain STEM Education!
Are you a strong writer with a passion for educational equity and program development?
STEMS4Girls is actively recruiting volunteer grant writers to help us secure funding that will grow and strengthen our STEM education programs for young children—especially those in under served communities. As a Grant Writer, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real, lasting impact by:
- Researching grants from foundations, corporations, and government sources that align with our mission in STEM, early childhood education, youth development, and equity
- Writing and submitting compelling grant proposals and letters of interest
- Helping us secure funding to expand our reach and bring STEM learning to more children across the region
- Supporting efforts to obtain operating grants that could help transition essential volunteer roles—like program coordinators, fundraisers, and administrative assistants—into paid staff positions to ensure long-term sustainability
- Collaborating with our executive team to gather success stories, outcomes, and organizational data to strengthen applications
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong writing and communication skills
- Is self-motivated and able to work independently
- Is organized and deadline-driven
- Believes in empowering youth through education and innovation
Your efforts will help us build capacity, expand programming, and stabilize our infrastructure—making sure that the people who drive our mission can continue doing so with the support they deserve.
