Citizen Review Team

County and City staff are recruiting volunteers to serve on Citizen Review Teams (CRT) for the Community Human Service Partnership (CHSP) grant reviews. 

We invite you to serve as a Citizen Review Team (CRT) volunteer, which is an important role for the 2022-2024 CHSP funding cycle. To participate as a CRT member, you must have no conflict of interest with any agency applicant and attend one of the mandatory workshops. Please register by March 25 if you haven't done so already. All workshops will be held virtually.  Previous volunteers should already be registered in the CHSP portal. Update your profile to ensure that your contact information and conflicts of interest, etc., are current.

Workshop Registration Instructions:  

• Login to your volunteer account at https://www.chspportal.org or register at https://www.chspportal.org/Volunteer.aspx
• If you cannot recall your password, for resetting instructions, click on "forgot your password".
• Register for one of the mandatory workshops  

• Select 2022/2023 from the fiscal year dropdown menu  

• Select click to select a workshop   
• Select one of the workshops from the pop-up box
• To close the pop-up box, click on close 
• Click save 

The volunteer workshop schedule is as follows: 

The agency presentations will begin on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, and end by Tuesday, June 14, 2021. In your volunteer profile, please provide the dates that you are not available to serve during this time frame.  Your CRT assignment and schedule will be provided during the workshop. Typically, your responsibilities as a member of a Citizens Review Team will last no more than three days and never three days in the same week.
