Girls on the Run Big Bend is partnering with Second Harvest of the Big Bend’s School Backpack Program to host a community service day, Saturday, April 23, 2016. Peanut butter and jelly will be collected March 23 – April 22, 2016 at each school’s drop off location and delivered to Second Harvest of the Big Bend April 23, 2016, 4446 Entrepot Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32310 where girls will stuff backpacks to send home with selected students to provide food for the family for the weekend.
Thirty community volunteers are needed 12:45 – 2:30 to do sorting of canned goods and PB&J. Background screening is not required.
