The Knott House Museum needs volunteers to help during the ceremony of a dramatic reading of the Emancipation Proclamation that occurred May 20, 1865 with celebration to follow across the street in Lewis Park. Volunteers are needed to welcome guests, hand out programs, serve lunch and assist with activities in Lewis Park.
