Join us for our annual Swing Dance on Park Avenue on Saturday, September 17, 2016. The FSU Swing Club will begin lessons at 6:30p.m., and visitors can join in with the big band at 7:00p.m. Lemonade will be available in the park.
Volunteers are needed from 5:30p.m. to 10:00p.m. to help set up chairs and tables, learn to swing and demonstrate for the crowd, serve light refreshments in the park, station themselves in a room of the house during the halfway mark house tour, and help with clean up afterwards. This popular fall event is a great way to engage with the community and have a ton of fun!
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of 18 years or older.
The Museum cannot provide a volunteer opportunity in the case of persons having been convicted of, or pled no contest, or been found guilty of a crime that is a felony or misdemeanor, or is seeking court-ordered community service hours.
