During the open house tour of the Knott House Museum on Veterans Day, 12p.m. to 4p.m., volunteers will interpret World War II homefront activities for visitors.
In the butler's pantry, the activity guide will explain how the Florida citrus groves provided much needed vitamin C to U.S. soldiers with the distribution of canned, concentrated orange juice and the invention of frozen concentrate in 1946 by Snow Crop aka Minute Maid.
