Volunteer: Sister FriendsThe Sister Friends Tallahassee Birthing Project, a Capital Area Healthy Start Program, is seeking Sister Friends volunteers to provide one-on-one support to a pregnant teen or woman to help her identify and stay in prenatal care, access other resources, and understand how to be a good parent. Duties: Caring listener with a desire to work with women and families. Compassion and commitment are an absolute must. Time Commitment: Approximately 10 hours per month until baby turns 12 months old (approx. 18 months).
