Get Ready Get Ready for the 4th Annual Thanksgiving food/clothing/COVID19 distribution Saturday November 21st at 8:30am at Gene Cox Stadium parking lot 441 Paul Russell Road. This event is hosted by Farm Share, Commissioner Bill Proctor, Project Goo, Destiny Church, Blazin'102.3 Speedracer & BoogieG, Carters Corner and Living Stones. We've joined together to share a tractor trailer of food, FREE TURKEY gift cards along with clothing and COVID19 testing with our community. Only (1) Turkey gift card per car will be given until gone so 1st come 1st served.
Awesome morning planned, so please share this info with friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. Due to social distancing, this food distribution will only serve those in cars. No walk ups allowed for food giveaway.
Also, Project Goo/ACCU Reference Medical Laboratory will provide free COVID19 testing to all receiving food. After receiving food, those seeking test must stay in cars and directed to testing site before leaving parking lot. In addition, those seeking free great looking clothing will be directed to area and park to look at coats, pants, dresses, shirts for children/adults.
Hear ye Hear ye, Volunteers are needed. Fraternities, sororities, clubs, students and individual are welcome. It would be appreciated if arrive by 6:30am to help food packaging prior to giveaway. If can’t make it then arriving by 7:00am would be awesome.
Social distancing will be practiced so please bring masks/gloves for your protection along with comfortable clothing and shoes. All volunteers please enter Gene Cox Stadium at the 2nd entrance off Paul Russell Road. Please let volunteer know directing traffic you’re here to serve and will be directed to parking.
