Capital Area Healthy Start Coalition is proud to host our Annual Meeting, a meaningful gathering of community partners, healthcare professionals, supporters, and advocates working together to improve the lives of mothers, babies, and families in the Big Bend region.
We are currently seeking volunteers to help us deliver a smooth, impactful event experience—and we’d love for you to join us!
Who We Are
Capital Area Healthy Start Coalition is a nonprofit serving Leon, Gadsden, Wakulla, Jefferson, Franklin, and Liberty counties.
Our mission is to reduce infant mortality and improve maternal health by providing vital services like:

Prenatal education & parenting classes

Fatherhood and doula support

Safe sleep resources and cribs

Referrals to healthcare, housing, and mental health providers
