The Office of Intervention and Detention Alternatives was created to align all jail management activities under one office. Probation, Supervised Pre-Trial Release, and Drug and Alcohol Testing programs have been realigned under this new office. Intervention and Detention Alternatives is dedicated to restoring and enhancing the quality of life of the clients it serves, assisting them in becoming productive and responsible citizens for a safer community.
In conformity with the Mission Statements of Leon County Board of County Commissioners and the Leon County Office of Intervention and Detention Alternatives, the Supervised Pretrial Release Division serves to restore and enhance the quality of life of the clients we serve and the community at large by imposing, monitoring and enforcing court-ordered condition(s) of release for its clients, thereby assisting them in becoming more productive and responsible citizens for a safer community.
