The Family Tree Community Center, Inc.

We serve the LGBT and allied community in a variety of ways. We provide information and resources, including a lending library of nearly 4,000 books and online and paper directories of LGBT owned and friendly businesses and resources. We organize the region's largest pride festival, PRIDEFEST, usually held during the month of April. We support LGBT owned and friendly businesses through our Tallahassee LGBT Business Partners group. We celebrate the active transgender community through our Transgender Tallahassee program, which includes support, chat, and networking opportunities. In addition, we maintain a 2,000 square foot community center space inside Tallahassee Mall, available to the community for meetings, events, or to just hang out.

The Mission of the Family Tree: To provide services which promote the well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals, to work to eliminate the conditions in society which allow homophobia to exist, and to be a place where everyone is welcome. Our ogranization is ran completely by volunteers and is 100% supported by the generosity of our community.
