Challenger Learning Center

The Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee is the K-12 educational outreach facility of the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and strives to foster long-term interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM); create positive learning experiences; and motivate students to pursue higher education and careers in these fields. To accomplish this mission, the Challenger Learning Center features a state-of-the-art space mission simulator and utilizes the immersiveness of an IMAX 3D Theatre, the Downtown Digital Dome Theatre & Planetarium and hands-on and demonstrational science techniques and equipment.

The Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee serves a tristate area and provides field trips, camps, public programs, IMAX 3D documentaries, planetarium shows, IMAX 2D/3D Hollywood films, birthday parties, memberships, facility rentals and more.
