Center for Leadership and Social Change

The Center offers classes, seminars, retreats, and hands-on learning experiences.  With over 40 programs to choose from, there is something for everyone.  Whether it's a short-term, long-term, exploratory or focused experience you're looking for, the Center will help you KNOW-BE-DO.

KNOW: About the world around you.  Know what the issues, problems and injustices are; who is affected, hurting or struggling; what are the needs of this community, other communities?  How can we influence change for the better?  What can we do?  Who do we talk to?

BE: Awareness of self and others, celebrating diversity, exploring social identities, and navigating the intersections of identity, understanding leadership as action and social justice as everyone's work, and accepting your role in affecting positive sustainable change in the world.

DO: What is your talent, skill, contribution, responsibility to society?  How will you positively change, improve, impact, empower, inspire, and influence people around you?

The Center for Leadership & Social Change is FSU students' source for leadership learning, service opportunities, and social justice education on Florida State University's campus. Our mission is to transform lives through leadership education, identity development and community engagement.
