Florida Dental Association Foundation

The Florida Dental Association Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Florida Dental Association. The FDA Foundation provides programming for communities to bring dental care to those in need. Not only are we looking for dental professionals to volunteer at the Florida Mission of Mercy, we need nearly 500 community volunteers to help serve as patient ambassadors, patient registration volunteers, parking team, food and beverage volunteers and set up & breakdown volunteers.

Florida Mission of Mercy (FLA-MOM) is a large-scale, two-day, professional dental clinic that provides care to any patient at no cost to them, with the goal of serving the under-served and uninsured in Florida — those who would otherwise go without care. We provide the following services: Cleanings Fillings Extractions Limited root canal therapy Pediatric dentistry Oral health education X-rays Limited number of dentures and partials
